Zeiss 15mm f/2.8 Distagon on Canon 5D Mark III
In my Guide to Zeiss I cover the new Zeiss 15mm f/2.8 Distagon in detail on Nikon bodies.
But the ZF.2 model can be used with a lens adapter on Canon bodies, and this is what I did for the shots below.
These examples and a few more are shown on a new page with examples with the Zeiss 15mm f/2.8 Distagon on the 22-megapixel Canon 5D Mark III.
The 15/2.8 Distagon should be shipping very soon now.
At about $2950, the Zeiss 15/2.8 Distagon is no casual decision, but I consider it a must-have ultra-wide for my uses.
Retina display
If you don’t have a MacBook Pro with Retina display (see my review of the MacBook Pro retina), walk into a local Apple Store or ask a friend, and check out these images (toggle between standard resolution and Retina resolution using the button). They look pretty darn awesome on a Retina display (but the Retina resolution looks worse on a standard display—edge sharpness blurred away by downscaling in the browser).
